  3. My piece, Metamorphosis, was chosen to be on the cover of “Bricolage” a literary arts journal for the UW English Department.

Its a small book that is published that has poetry, writing and other stuff in it… (hopefully, I’ll get a copy when it comes out)

  4. This is my favorite piece of encaustic work on the web, the colors, the layers, the movement is absolutely mesmerizing. I am new to the medium and am so inspired by your work. Thanks for sharing!

  5. I just came from a two day workshop on encaustic painting. I mostly experimented and experienced the process. I love it. this piece of yours is awesome. I haven’t got the idea of the free floating of the paint. Any hints? Marilyn

  9. Lorvii,

Thank you for your reply! :o)

Metamorphosis is about changing and morphing into something else or evolving as we learn more in our lives but everyone sees something different and I like that everyone has their own connection to the piece based on their own personal experiences… I would be honored if you wanted to use my painting for a report that you’re working on. It would be nice if you would add a link to the piece if you want other people to see what you’re talking about.

    Have a great day.
